Official AI reference source

Make your official business information clearer for AI tools.

AiTrace creates an official AI information layer: a clear, machine-readable and referenceable source your team can return to when an AI assistant, customer or partner uses incomplete or misinterpreted information. We cannot guarantee that AI systems will read your website. But we can help make your official information clearer, more structured and easier to verify.

Official reference point

When an AI answer is wrong or outdated, your official information should be easy to check.

AI may answer about your business without checking your official website. AiTrace helps turn your official public information into a clearer reference point that can be shared, linked to and checked when an AI answer is incomplete, incorrect or outdated.

This does not guarantee that AI systems will read or use the information. It gives the business a clearer official source to point to when customers, partners or AI tools need to verify what is actually true.

A quiet shift has already started

The Google-era web was built for clicks. The AI-era web must be built for understanding.

For years, the purpose of a website was to get a human to click, browse the menu and decide. That logic will not disappear overnight, but it is no longer the only way a company is discovered.

In the new search logic, people increasingly ask AI for a summary, comparison, recommendation or next step. Your website no longer competes only with other websites. It competes for what AI understands about your business.

What does AI actually see on your business website?

AI does not need more marketing copy. It needs better context.

An AI agent does not read a website like a person. It reads HTML, text fragments, links, metadata, structure and sometimes visual snapshots. These provide information, but not always business context.

Human view

People see design.

  • images and atmosphere
  • navigation and layout
  • brand language and context
  • visual trust signals

Agent view

Machines look for structure.

  • who the company is
  • what it offers
  • where it operates
  • what may change over time
  • what should not be assumed
Who is this company? What do they offer? Is this information current? How can I contact them? What should not be assumed?

Before / after clarity check

We check whether official information is easier to find, reference and verify.

Before

Before: unclear official context

“The company appears to offer several services. Some prices, availability or opening times may vary. More information may be available somewhere on the website.”

After AiTrace layer

After: clearer official reference

“The company’s official description, services, contact path and time-sensitive information are separated. It is clearer what can be stated, what must be checked and what should not be assumed.”

A new risk

If AI cannot find clear structure, it starts to infer.

Many websites are understandable to people but unclear to machines. Services, prices, contacts, events, seasonality and future plans may be scattered across different pages.

If AI or a customer agent cannot find clear official structure, it has to make logical assumptions. That is where wrong service descriptions, outdated events, invented prices, wrong availability or wrong contacts can appear.

Practical problem

When AI describes your business incorrectly

If an AI chat, search answer or customer agent uses outdated, incomplete or misinterpreted information about your company, the issue may not be only the AI system. Often the official website does not provide a clear reference source that separates stable information, time-sensitive information and what should not be assumed.

AiTrace helps make the official reference layer clearer on the existing website.

AiTrace solution

We do not give your website a new face. We give it a new reading layer.

01

We read the public website

We identify what is already clear, what is scattered and where AI may start making unsupported assumptions.

02

We separate permanent and time-sensitive information

Prices, events, availability, opening hours and seasonal services should not become permanent AI claims.

03

We add an AI-readable layer

We prepare a machine-readable information layer, FAQ, claim-limit guidance and webmaster installation instructions.

Not a chatbot, but an AI-readable context layer.

We do not build a chatbot for your website. We make your website readable for the chatbots and agents your customers use.

You do not need to own an AI agent. Your customer’s AI chat or agent may read your website anyway.

AiTrace helps provide those systems with a clearer official source: who you are, what you offer, how to contact you, what is permanent and what must be checked before answering.

Not advertising. Infrastructure.

In the AI era, clearer official information is a better starting point.

The best visibility may no longer come from louder advertising. It may come from making your official information the clearest source for machines to read.

AiTrace does not promise that any AI system will automatically recommend your business. That cannot be guaranteed honestly. We do something more concrete: we make the official source material clearer and easier to verify.

The technical files are only part of the work. The more important task is deciding what is official, what changes over time, what should not be assumed and where a customer should be directed when an AI answer is incomplete or wrong.

For any business with a public website

If your website is an information source for people, it is now an information source for machines.

AI readability is not a sector-specific issue. If customers search for information about your business online, AI chats, AI search and customer agents may become part of that discovery path.

The question is not what sector you operate in. The question is whether AI can understand your official website without guessing: who you are, what you offer, how to contact you, what changes over time and what must not be assumed.

What the AiTrace AI-readable website layer work prepares

An AI-readable website layer for an existing website

This is not a new website or a classic SEO project. The visible website can remain unchanged. The work adds a structured public information layer so AI chats, search systems and customer agents can understand official business information without relying on unsupported assumptions.

The work includes:

  • website clarity audit;
  • approved company description for AI use;
  • a machine-readable guide file;
  • a public machine-readable information layer;
  • FAQ for machine and user questions;
  • separation of permanent and time-sensitive information;
  • claim-limit guidance: what AI should not assume;
  • JSON-LD recommendation;
  • installation guide for the webmaster.

If AI reads your website on behalf of the customer, it needs the right source material.

About

Aitrace OÜ is an Estonian company.

Our work focuses on the invisible but public information layer of an existing website: how AI chats, search systems and customer agents find, interpret and pass on information about a business.

Active AI context

An official AI information link you can share

AiTrace does not rely only on an AI crawler eventually discovering /llms.txt or the /ai/ layer. As part of the service, the company also gets a simple official AI information link that can be used in emails, proposals, partner materials and customer communication.

If a person or AI agent opens and uses that link, the official source context is clearly available. This does not force any AI system to read the link and it does not guarantee AI behaviour, but it reduces the need for AI systems to reconstruct the company from random snippets or assumptions.

Contact

Does your business have an official AI reference source?

Send your website address. I will briefly review whether your company identity, services, contact information and time-sensitive information are clearly presented for AI tools, or whether too much is left to inference.

Primary contact action: request a quick website AI-readability check by email. Alternative contact action: email directly at info@aitrace.ee.

This is not an SEO audit or an AI visibility guarantee. The purpose is to check whether public information is clearly structured enough to serve as an official and referenceable source.
